Trellis Church ("Trellis", "we") is a church in Kirkland, Washington. This page explains how we handle information on our website and in the tools we use to manage our own social media accounts.

Our website

When you visit trellisnw.org, our website host may collect standard technical information such as your browser type and pages visited. When you fill out a form (for example to connect with us, register for an event or give), we use what you send only to respond to you and run our ministry. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Trellis Analytics (our social media reporting tool)

Trellis Analytics is a private, internal tool used only by Trellis Church staff. It connects, with read-only access, to the Trellis Church YouTube channel, Instagram account and Facebook Page so we can see how our own videos and posts are doing (for example views, watch time and audience totals).

- What it accesses: analytics and video information for Trellis Church's own accounts, through Google's YouTube Data and YouTube Analytics APIs and Meta's Instagram and Facebook APIs. It requests read-only permission and cannot post, edit or delete anything.

- How we use it: only to understand which of our videos help people and to plan future content.

- Where it is kept: the sign-in keys and reports stay on a Trellis Church staff computer. We do not share, sell or transfer this information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

- Removing access: the account owner can remove Trellis Analytics' access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or in Facebook's Business Integrations settings (Meta).

Trellis Analytics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
